University of Huddersfield(Don't laugh at my English)
Things to do before go to The UK and Huddersfield study

In 16/7, I received the official CAS.Then, I started to prepare things before I went The UK.There were so many necessary things that I needed to do before I went to The UK.First,I had to go to British Consulate-General Hong Kong and apply The UK study Visa.(most of the countries need to apply visa before going to UK)

Second, I had to book the accommodation for next academic year.(you can get in touch with the agency company or The University)

Third, I had to book the flights ticket. Forth,I had to get ready for using English to communicate with others. Fifth,I had to get the medical report from the doctor(ask your agent)

Now,According to my experience,I will talk about what you need to do before go to The UK or Huddersfield.

First, The weather here is quite cold which is mostly between -5 to 20 for September to March. January is the coldest months that I have been feeling.

Second,You can find everything here from daily goods to luxury goods because there is a big shopping mall call Kingsgate and there are different kinds of supermarket for you to choose, such as Lidl,Aldi,Mark&Spencer,Tesco,Sainsbury,Morrison.I tell you this because I through Huddersfield was a town that barren and I bring so many things to Huddersfield =.=

Third,Transport, the transportation in Huddersfield is absolutely convenient ,because you can take 30 minutes train to Leeds,45minutes train to Manchester, and the Train Station is just 10 minutes walk from uni.so you can enjoy your weekends easily.

Uni life in Huddersfield(international study centre) The reason why i choose Huddersfield Univeersity

Uni life in Huddersfield(international study centre)
The reason why i choose Huddersfield
(Don't laugh with my English..LoL)
Hi everyone, I am Frankie Leung and come from Hong Kong SAR. I have been studying in international study center for 4 months, it's the time to share my experience. Let's get started

In 31/4/2014, I finished my HKDSE (public exam in HK) and I was so confused about my future because I thought my English was not good enough to get in to Universities in Hong Kong. Then,I was trying to look at some leaflet from some foreign University. But there was not much options for me since I wanted to study Supply Chain Management which was kind of logistics. After that,I found University of Plymouth and University of Huddersfield. The reason for me to choose Huddersfield was because the cost of living here was very low. Also, University is Times Uni Awards Winner, provided a range of subject, Top 10 paid work placements, Top 5 in England for student satisfaction and the most most most one was the graduate employment rate was the top 20 in the UK. So,I decided to study in Huddersfield.

Then, I was trying get in touch with some university agency in Hong Kong,(you can just search 'study abroad agent' in google) and asked them to contact with University of Huddersfield international study centre (ISC) or University of Huddersfield. The difference between these two is that the ISC is providing foundation, international year one and pre-master course and  the University of Huddersfield is providing Uni bachelor and master course. Then,I got the International year one conditional offer from the University of Huddersfield international study centre which required me to get IELTS 5.0(no less than 5.0 in writing) and 333 in HKDSE which was not that hard compare with other uni in the UK and Hong Kong.

In 14/7,I received my HKDSE result.......,but luckily, I got more than 333 and ielts 5.5 overall. That means I was able to get in to university of Huddersfield international study centre. WOWWWWW...I was so so so so happy about that because i was not studying so hard when I was secondary school, but luckily, I had a chance to go to year one.

(next time i will talk about things need to do before go to The Huddersfield or The UK)
